While IS manages major operating system upgrades, Apple regularly releases several smaller to macOS computers. Here's how to run these updates from a Lab-issued MacBook:
- Open the Self Service application
In Finder, go to Applications > Self Service
- Go to the 'Operating System' category on the left
- Select the button under 'Run Software Updates'
* Please note that software updates may take around 1 hour to install. Your Mac may need to restart to install any pending updates.
